J H HULL's PTSA
would like to thank all of our families that helped make our last fund raiser a success. With your help we manage to raise $180 more for our students.
Remember that this money stays at our school and goes directly to pay for trips, school buses and more. If you want to find out more about the PTSA we still have positions that need to be filled for next year.
We'll keep you posted as to when our first meeting for the upcoming school year will be.

We'd like to reminder all of our students that they must wear helmets (whether riding to or from school or any other time) that are approved while riding any of the following:
bicycle
non motorized scooter (i.e. razors)
skateboard
in-line stakes
or roller blades
It is the law (CVC 21212(a)) and it spells out the following:
Youth Bicycle Helmets: Minors
21212. (a) A person under 18 years of age shall not operate a bicycle, a nonmotorized scooter, or a skateboard, nor shall they wear in-line or roller skates, nor ride upon a bicycle, a nonmotorized scooter, or a skateboard as a passenger, upon a street, bikeway, as defined in Section 890.4 of the Streets and Highways Code, or any other public bicycle path or trail unless that person is wearing a properly fitted and fastened bicycle helmet that meets the standards of either the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) or the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), or standards subsequently established by those entities. This requirement also applies to a person who rides upon a bicycle while in a restraining seat that is attached to the bicycle or in a trailer towed by the bicycle.
Plus they're also required to wear their helments while on school property. Please see the flyer below.

Dance
We need your assistance, we still need several parents willing to chaperone the dance. If you're interested in helping out please call the school and let us know. We're especially looking for 6th and 7th grade parents to help, for these parents there is no need to help set up or clean up unless you are willing to.
